Respect & Sportsmanship
Demonstrate respect toward coaches, teammates, opponents, officials, and facilities at all times.
Display positive sportsmanship before, during, and after games.
Parents and spectators are expected to show respect toward umpires, opposing teams, coaches, and players. Abusive language, arguing, or negative comments (“trash talk”) directed at officials or others will not be tolerated.
Refrain from any abusive, inappropriate, or disruptive language or behavior.
Parents and spectators are not permitted in the dugout at any time during games.
Coaching, instruction, or commentary from the stands toward players or umpires is not allowed.
Parents are expected to support the team in a positive and respectful manner at all times.
Players are not allowed to leave the dugout during games unless given permission by a coach.
If a player needs to use the restroom, they must notify a coach before leaving.
No food is allowed in the dugout during games.
No gum or sunflower seeds are permitted in the dugout.
Players may have water or sports drinks only during games.
Parents are responsible for ensuring players are properly fed before games.
Follow all team rules, policies, and coaching instructions.
Represent the program positively on and off the field, including on social media.
Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, removal from games, suspension, or dismissal from the program, depending on the severity and frequency of the behavior.
